James Norris Browne

James Norris Browne, 53, of Gandeeville, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007.
He was a son of the late Joseph Dillon and Julia Norris Browne. He attended Holy Family High School, Ashland, Ky., and received a degree in theatre from the University of Kentucky. He worked with Creative Arts Team, New York, appearing on and off Broadway. He was a licensed masseur and real estate broker for United Country/Country Homes.
He is survived by his companion, Bobette Harper of Gandeeville; two sisters, Francie Guyers of Greenville, S.C., and Susie Susca of Port Saint Lucie, Fla.; and one brother, J.D. Browne of Stuart, Fla.
Service was Wednesday at his home. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Charles I. Lynch

Charles I. Lynch, 83, of Elrama, Pa., died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Jefferson Hills, Pa.
He was born at Walton, a son of the late Eler Addison and Goldie Lynch. He was a retired foreman for U.S. Steel. He attended Elrama United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II for the air force. He was a member of the Walton Masonic Lodge #150 F&AM for more than 50 years, a Shriner, a member of the Elrama Volunteer Fire Department and Odd Fellows Lodge #209.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marian Beech Lynch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbur.
Service was Friday at Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home Chapel, Elizabeth, Pa., with Rev. Thomas Carr officiating. Masonic burial was Saturday at Looney Cemetery, Walton.
Memorial donations may be sent to W. Pa. Humane Society, 1680 Fallen Timber Road, Elizabeth PA 15037.

Clara E. Tanner

Clara E. Tanner, 81, of Chloe, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston.
She was a Christian and a homemaker. She had worked at Kellwood Co. and B.F. Goodrich, Grantsville.
She is survived by one daughter, Eloise Bullard of Chloe; two sons, Lynn of Chloe and Elwood of Orville, Ohio; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Tanner.
Service was Sunday at Nebo Baptist Church with Rev. Darius Arnold officiating. Burial was in Hardman Cemetery, Nebo. Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, and John H. Taylor Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
