Knotts was a winner in the 300-meter hurdles and the pole vault in helping the Lady Raiders to a third place finish in the eight-team meet behind Bridgeport and Elkins.

Other RCHS winners were Jessica Roberts in the 1600 and the 4x100 relay team of Mary Fluharty, Kim Smith, Sheree Raines and Stephanie Mitchell.

Roane’s boys were fourth behind Bridgeport, Robert C. Byrd and Elkins. Randy Price, in the 1600 and 3200, and Derek Davis, in the 110 and 300 hurdles, each had a pair of seconds for the Raiders.

Randy Price won three individual events and Jessica Roberts two on Tuesday in the LKC South Challenge track meet at County Stadium.

Price took the boys 800, 1600 and 3200 runs to help the Raiders to an easy victory in the four-team meet. Roberts was first in the 1600 and 3200 as the Lady Raiders cruised past the competition in their portion of the meet.
