Winless Calhoun County was no match for visiting Roane County in an LKC South game Thursday.
The Lady Raiders (6-3) opened a 17-3 lead after one period and coasted past the Red Devils (0-13).
Jessica Roberts tossed in 16 points and Clarissa Pinson had 15 as Roane moved to 4-1 in conference play.
Stephanie Stacy, with 14, was the only Red Devil in double figures.
Roane County put the clamps on Herbert Hoover in the first half Monday on the way to an easy 43-27 victory over the visiting Huskies.
The Lady Raiders (7-4) took a 24-6 lead into halftime while holding Hoover’s leading scorer, Danielle Sams, without a point.
Kate Williams had 13 points and Clarissa Pinson 12 to go along with 11 rebounds for Roane, which also got 13 steals and three assists from Ashli Knotts.
Leah Fletcher and Joanna Dempsey combined to score 37 points Tuesday for South Harrison in a 51-42 LKC South victory over visiting Roane County.
Fletcher hit for 19 points and Dempsey 18, including 10 in the fourth quarter, as the Hawks held on to first place in the division and sent Roane to a 4-2 conference mark. The Lady Raiders are 7-5 overall.
Jessica Roberts paced Roane with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Ashli Knotts contributed eight steals for RCHS.
Erica Ellison sank 10-of-11 free throws on her way to scoring 18 points in Roane’s 39-23 JV victory. Taylor Bradley added 11 for the Lady Raiders. |
